Crafting

Crafting in Frackin' Universe greatly expands upon the base crafting system in Starbound, with hundreds of new crafting items and blocks to collect and utilize. In addition, numerous Crafting Stations have been added to the game.

Frackin' Universe's main crafting station is the Machining Table, which is automatically available to craft at the beginning of the game. Most of the FU crafting stations are built at the Machining Table, except for the Medieval Workstation. In addition, some Starbound crafting stations (the Atomic Furnace, the Sewing Machine, and the Medical Station) have new FU-enabled upgrades.

It is recommended that the player craft any crafting station, item, or material with the "NEW" label, as more recipes will be learned with every item crafted. Many of these items are required to survive in various biomes and against many enemies.

Crafting Stations

Frackin' Universe adds multiple new crafting stations, wherein there are 6 upgradable crafting stations. These can be crafted using the Machining Table, except for the Medieval Workstation, which is crafted using the Inventor's Table.
