S.A.I.L. is short for Ship-based Artificial Intelligence Lattice. It is responsible for running the player's ship computer and giving information beneficial to their survival. It is also where you receive certain quests. In FU, it lets the player access their research tree and see how much research, madness, pixels, and ancient essence.
